Port Townsend Farmers Market

Wednesdays, 3pm-6pm June-September

Uptown Port Townsend

Saturdays, 9am-2pm April-October

10am-2pm November-mid-December

650 Tyler Street, Port Townsend

The Port Townsend Farmers Market operates nine months of the year, from the first Saturday in April through the 3rd Saturday in December. Originally founded by a half-dozen vendors in a downtown parking lot in 1992, the Port Townsend Farmers Market has grown to include as many as 90 vendors. Located in the heart of uptown Port Townsend on the 600 block of Tyler Street between Lawrence and Clay Streets, the market offers a wide variety of seasonal produce, pasture-raised meat, hard cider, honey, artisan cheese, bread, and pastries, prepared food, as well as fine arts and crafts from Jefferson and neighboring counties. From locally grown food to pottery, the items sold travel no more than 50 miles to reach the market. Some of our vendors even bike their products to market (Cape Cleare, for example).

In 2025, we are reopening our Port Townsend Wednesday Farmers Market, closed in 2020 in response to COVID-19. The Port Townsend Wednesday Farmers Market is an agriculture and artisan food market in Uptown Port Townsend on the 600 block of Tyler Street.

The Port Townsend Farmers Market is accessible by transit. The number 11# bus stops at the corner of Tyler and Lawrence Streets throughout the market day. Please visit Jefferson Transit for the transit schedule and stop locations. In addition to neighborhood parking, market parking is available at the Haines Place Park and Ride. ADA parking is available in the Community Center parking lot next to the market.

Service animals are welcome. Please leave pets at home. The market neighbors the Port Townsend Community Center and Rec Center, which has a large grassy area and park. Dogs are welcome on the grass and at the park. Smoking is not allowed at the Jefferson County Farmers Markets.

Chimacum Farmers Market

Sundays, 10am-2pm, May-October

9122 Rhody Drive, Chimacum WA

Want to shop for locally grown food in the heart of our farming community with your dog at your side? Well, the Chimacum Farmers Market is the market for you. Located just a stone’s throw from several participating farms in Jefferson County’s farm country, the Chimacum Farmers Market operates Sundays, June through October, from 10 am to 2 pm. More rustic than its sister market in Port Townsend, this jewel of a market offers a remarkable variety of seasonal produce from neighboring farms as well as artisan food and arts.

From May to October, find us at Chimacum’s only 4-way stop, in the grassy area behind Chimacum Corner Farmstand, where Highway 19 meets Chimacum Road and Center Road. We look forward to seeing you!
